About The Event
Do you no longer like your national anthem? Is it actually terrible marching music? Patriarchal? Nationalistic? Colonial? Through this practical workshop, the "Büro für musikalisches Übermaß" offers a revision of the international music landscape. You will be supported in restructuring and modernising your official national anthems or in creating new anti-national anthems.
Micheli is a composer, performer and music educator. His works often deal with cultural contaminations, conflicts and the transnational exchange between cultures. He is also interested in artificial intelligences and their relationship to nature, the synthesis of organic and living matter, but also in religion, transcendence and rituals as well as processes in which performers and the audience are pushed to the limits of their listening or performance skills.
The workshop will take place inside Galerie Wedding's exhibition space. Number of participants limited to 5 persons at a time.
You can register for a slot:
Fri, 25.09. from 12 to 14 h Fri, 25.09. from 15 to 17 h
