Workshop with Norbert Pape, Head of Dance, Mathematics and Sensuous Cognition (Moabit Mountain College)

The workshop will take place on the square in front of the Galerie Wedding.

We will deal with choreography as an organisation of bodies in space and time. We take the joint performance of simple choreographic scores from the 70s until today as a starting point for a reflection on movement.

Norbert Pape works as an artist in the fields of dance, performance and choreography. He explores what dance can do on stages, in studios, museums, schools, living rooms, clubs and cellars, often in collaboration with others (most recently Antje Pfundtner, Mette Ingvartsen, Noé Soulier). He has worked on questions of (alternative) education and self-organisation (ID_Frankfurt, PAF) and explores how the knowledge acquired through dance can be taught and used. He is currently studying mathematics.
